The Transfusion Evidence Library is a database of systematic reviews (since 1980) and randomised controlled trials (since 1950) relevant to transfusion medicine. It is fully searchable, updated monthly and aims to be a key resource for medical practitioners, policy makers and researchers both in the UK and around the world.

The Cochrane Collaboration has endorsed the Transfusion Evidence Library database, recognizing it as a unique, evidence-based resource for the transfusion medicine community.

The library provides

  • A fully customized user interface specifically designed for the transfusion medicine community, including search filters that make it easy to find specific information
  • Direct one-click-access to all free full text articles
